  • Meet the CEO of Genuine Hearts Treatment Clinic, Ms. Rye

Ms. Rye holds a Master of Science in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama, California, Florida, Louisiana, Oregon, Texas, and Nevada.

With a background in Criminal Justice, Ms. Rye began her career in social services in 2007 as a Juvenile Probation Officer, which inspired her transition into mental health. Now a National Certified Counselor with over 16 years of experience in mental and behavioral health, she brings extensive expertise and dedication to serving clients at Genuine Hearts Treatment Clinic.

As a therapist, my goal is to provide a comforting, trusting, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. I understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable experience, and I strive to create an environment that fosters healing, growth, and self-discovery.  I am also committed to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health by encouraging open conversations about mental wellness and the importance of seeking support.

To best support your unique needs, I integrate various therapeutic approaches. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. Gestalt Therapy fosters deeper self-awareness and present-moment experiences, allowing for emotional processing and personal insight. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) encourages psychological flexibility by helping you accept difficult emotions while committing to meaningful life changes. Person-Centered Therapy ensures a compassionate and empowering environment where you are in control of your healing journey.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, providing the tools and support necessary to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.

Hey there, I’m Monica Jones—better known as your homegirl therapist. You might be wondering why I go by that name, so let me break it down for you. I create a judgmentfree space where you can feel safe, comfortable, and truly heard. Because let’s be real—being heard is important, but knowing that your therapist is really listening? That’s everything.

My job is to listen with intention and guide you toward growth. I take an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I tailor techniques to fit you—not the other way around. We’ll work together to identify challenges, but more importantly, we’ll focus on solutions that are realistic and effective. Life throws curveballs, but by building on your strengths and shifting perspectives, you’ll be equipped to navigate them with confidence.

Therapy isn’t just about what happens in session—it’s about real-life application. That’s why I offer the flexibility to reach out when things come up between sessions. Because healing isn’t a one-time conversation; it’s a journey, and I’m here to walk it with you.

So, if you’re looking for a therapist who listens, supports, and genuinely cares about your well-being, let’s get started on your path to healing today
